Forest Lore

They say some forests are haunted by the spirits of those who died or were buried there. The forest holds the memory of lost travelers, gold miners, curious children, beloved pets and those in search of faeries. No one knows for sure what happened to each of the missing, but every night, strange noises and lights can be seen among the trees.

Some say the forest is hungry, and it will devour anyone who dares to enter its domain. Others say there is a woman that lives deep in the woods inside of a tree. Some people fear her, some people admire her, some people seek her out for her wisdom and healing. They say she can talk to the trees and the animals and brews magnificent potions from strange plants. The forest woman takes care of the forest, and the forest takes care of her.
